Welcome! I am currently working as a Data Scientist at SkinIO in Chicago using machine learning and computer vision to build software tools that track and analyze changes to your skin.

Before working at SkinIO, I completed my PhD in Neuroscience at Emory University in the Computational Neuroscience Lab. My graduate and post-doctoral research was aimed at understanding how the brain makes decisions. To this effort, I combined advanced electrical and optical recording technologies and advanced analytical techniques to examine brain activity across multiple time and spatial scales during behavior.

I received my Bachelors Degree (2013) in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I then worked breifly in the Human Spinal Physiology Lab at the National Instutites of Health before beginning my PhD at Emory University.

I am also intersted in transportation analytics and financial markets. You can find out more about these projects here.
